Dreamin' of Texas

It is April in Michigan, and I guess all over the world, and I'd like to say spring has arrived. However, it's been snowing since we left Michigan for Virginia for spring break last Friday and the snow was swirling past our windshield at 70 miles per hour as soon as we hit Ohio on our way home. I guess you could say we're all dreaming of mostly sunny skies with a few white billowy clouds and radiant heat on our faces.

My thoughts lately have been obsessed with Texas, only an 18 hour drive from here, namely because of the plethora of quirky artsy authors I've been reading who are from the Lone Star state and also to my new discovery of the show "Fixer Upper" with two seasons on Netflix. Chip and Joanna Gaines and the quaint Texas towns in which their show takes place are enough to make me want to throw on a pair of cowboy boots, pack all of our belongings into the back of a U-haul, and head for warmer climes. What about you? What do you do when the dissatisfaction inside you grows into a selfish two year old and will not be quieted? I'd love to hear from you!
